The Oklahoma Department of Transportation will be closing sections of Tulsa highways to repair stretches of guardrails.

One lane of Interstate 44 in Tulsa was closed Sunday evening. The left lane of westbound I-44 is closed from 41st Street to South Lewis Avenue. It will reopen Monday morning.

More guardrail work will be done Monday on the Broken Arrow Expressway. Crews will close the road between 21st Street South and Lewis avenue from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday.

Both projects are weather permitting.
