A robbery overnight in Tulsa ends with a serious car accident. It happened just before 5 am Friday on I-44. Tulsa Police say someone broke into a house near 51st and Utica and stole two cars. Police officers were at the home taking a report when they heard about the accident. The officers later found out it was one of the stolen vehicles.

Tulsa Police say the suspect hit a grassy area on I-44 and ran head-on into concrete wall dividing the interstate. The suspect was seriously injured. The other stolen vehicle has not been found.

Car Strikes Train

Two people walk away after hitting a moving train overnight. The accident happened about 3:30 am Friday in west Tulsa.

Tulsa Police say a man and his wife were headed north on Southwest Boulevard at 17th Street and apparently did not see the train until it was too late. The impact heavily damaged the front end of the car.
The couple walk to the ambulance and will be okay.

The train's conductor apparently did not know anyone hit him and he kept on going.
