NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Oklahoma cornerback Reggie Smith is the Big 12 Conference's defensive player of the week.

The junior had six tackles, two pass break-ups and a fourth-quarter interception Saturday in OU's 28-21 win over Texas.

Smith returned the interception 33 yards. One of the break-ups also came in the fourth quarter during man-to-man coverage on a deep pass inside the OU 10-yard line. It's the second time this season Smith has received the award.

Missouri quarterback Chase Daniel was named the Big 12's offensive player of the week and Colorado kicker Kevin Eberhart was special teams player of the week.
