OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ The #3 position among Oklahoma's largest high schools is turning into a revolving door.
For the second time this season, Muskogee (4-2) held down that spot, but the Roughers lost it after a 50-35 loss to #2 Jenks (5-1).
That opened the door for Norman North (5-1) to move up a spot to #3 in The Associated Press' high school rankings this week, behind top-ranked Union (6-0) and Jenks. It's the highest ranking for the Timberwolves in school history.
Once again, the top-ranked teams in all eight of Oklahoma's high-school classes remained the same. For the fourth straight week, the other seven #1 teams are Carl Albert in Class 5A, Bishop McGuinness in 4A, Clinton in 3A, Cascia Hall in 2A, Velma-Alma in Class A, Morrison in Class B and Shattuck in Class C.
