BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (AP) -- The president of Northeastern State University plans to return to his duties January 1st.
Belva Howard -- chairwoman of the regents governing NSU-- says Larry Williams is making excellent progress in his recovery and should be back on board by the beginning of the new year.
Howard also praised Acting President Kim Cherry for her leadership in Williams' absence.
$40 million in projects at the school's campuses are under way.
Full-time enrollment stands at 7,783.
