Fasten your seatbelts, because gas prices are still going up. Across eastern Oklahoma, unleaded regular gasoline cost as much as $3.29 a gallon. The national average is less at $3.05. Tulsa motorist Lisa Steinmeyer says it cost her about $60 to fill up her gas tank.

Regardless of how high prices get, Steinmeyer says she will have to work it into her budget. "It hurts alot. It hurts alot. I go out of town one or two days a week. It's starting to take a toll."

Oil industry experts blame high gas prices on increased demand for gas, the high price of crude oil and low gasoline inventories.

Fuel stocks are low because several refineries, including the one in Coffeyville, Kansas are off line.
