SMITHDALE, Miss. (AP) - A Mississippi soldier who lost both legs in Iraq has married his girlfriend in a hospital room ceremony in Texas.

Army Specialist Josh A. Wells married Brandi M. Clark in a ceremony November 20 at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio. Wells was injured in a November 2 attack on the Stryker Light Armored Vehicle he was driving.

They had planned to marry already when Wells was hurt three months into his stint in Iraq and was flown to the hospital in Texas.
