As folks in Florida leave their homes, some Oklahomans are getting ready to head to Florida.
Dozens of Oklahoma Baptists are already in Florida helping Hurricane Charley victims. They're now sending 30 more volunteers next week.
Folks like Sam Porter will pack a chainsaw and help hurricane victims clean up from the storms. "We feel like we're the hands and feet of Jesus Christ to go and help people in their greatest need."
Dr Scott Mason is on stand-by to go back to Florida. Mason helped hundreds of injured animals after Hurricane Charley. Dr Mason is the only Oklahoma veterinarian who works with FEMA during disasters.
