A close call for a truck driver and his passenger after his rig is hit by a train. It happened near state Highway 51 and 137th West Avenue about 2:30 AM Monday.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers say the driver of the truck stopped on the tracks to open an electronic gate. He thought he could beat the train, but didn't. The train hit the trailer; a passenger was in the cab of the truck at the time.
No one was hurt in the accident. The truck was hauling laundry.
