OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Police are searching for an Oklahoma City man charged Friday with murder in connection with the April death his eight-week old son.

Gaylon Gene Boyd was charged with one count of first-degree murder.

A police affidavit says Tavion Boyd died April 29th from a severe brain trauma. The affidavit says the baby had been in the custody of his father at the time the injuries were sustained.

Gaylon Boyd told police the child stopped breathing after he was given a bath.
