Attempted Oklahoma City kidnapping

An Oklahoma City girl is safe after nearly being kidnapped from her front yard. 5-year-old Cynthia Valdez says she was playing with her dog when a man approached her and began asking questions about the animal.

He allegedly grabbed her and began dragging her off. At that moment, a Metro Transit bus was driving by and a passenger noticed what was happening. The passenger got off the bus and began chasing the suspect. The driver then delivered Cynthia home safely.

Cynthiaâ€™s sister, Alma Valdez: â€œThank God they were right there to chase him if it weren't for them I'm not sure she would have been right now.â€ The suspect managed to get away.

Oklahoma City Police know very little about him, and don't have a good description.
