An unidentified Broken Arrow teenager is in custody after investigators say he started a fire Thursday morning at his school.

It started in the upstairs boys bathroom at North Intermediate High School at 808 East College. The 16 year old boy was caught on security cameras coming out of the bathroom just before the alarm sounded.

The building was evacuated safely. Arson investigators believe the suspect poured a flammable liquid on the floor and lit it.

The fire damaged the bathroom and smoke spread to several rooms and a hallway.
