There is some encouraging news about local jobs. A Manpower Employment outlook survey finds Tulsa area employers expect to pick up the pace for hiring in the first quarter of next year.
From January through March, 43% of the companies interviewed say they plan to hire more employees. Only 10% intend to reduce their workforce. Other companies say they expect to maintain their current workforce or are uncertain of their hiring plans.
Manpower says the best job prospects include areas such as construction, manufacturing, finance and real estate.
