Vinita - A second teen has died following a one-vehicle crash in Craig County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 15-year-old Trevor C. Hamilton of Claremore died this morning at a hospital in Joplin, Missouri. He had been in critical condition following yesterday's crash.

Troopers say a 16-year-old Claremore resident, Robert R. Mendenhall, died at the scene of the crash ten miles northwest of Vinita.

The crash occurred on a county road when a pickup truck the teens were riding in approached a low water bridge that was narrowed down to one lane.

Troopers say the vehicle ran off the road, struck a bridge embankment and overturned twice.

Each of the victims was ejected about 87 feet from the vehicle. The patrol says neither teen was wearing a seat belt.
