(College Station, Texas-AP) -- Texas A&M hosts Number 18 Oklahoma State on Saturday.
And Jason Carter is expected to be one of A&M's biggest playmakers.
The junior from Caldwell, Texas, was supposed to be strong in the versatile A-back position. It didn't happen until last week when Carter had the biggest game of his college career.
He had 185 all-purpose yards -- including an 89-yard kickoff return in the closing minutes -- during a 48-to-12 loss to Nebraska.
Carter says it's just a matter of time to show people what you can do.
Carter's emergence could mean more playing time with the loss for the season of wide receiver Jamaar Taylor.
He's out for the rest of his senior season with a knee injury suffered against Nebraska.
