Tulsa County commissioners have voted for a 5% pay raise for themselves and other elected county officials.
All eight elected county officials will get another $451 a year, starting January 1st. The raises affect the three county commissioners, the sheriff, assessor, court clerk, county clerk and treasurer. They'll now all make $85,070 a year.
Commissioners say the raises will bring Tulsa County officials in line with their Oklahoma County counterparts.
Tulsa County elected officials haven't had a raise in three of the past five years.
