(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Oklahoma Gas and Electric is sending 56 workers to Virginia to help restore electric service following Hurricane Isabel.

OG&E sent nine line crews Friday, seven service crews, three construction coordinators, two mobile mechanics and a construction superintendent.

The utility's expenses are being paid by Dominion, an electric utility with more than $2-million customers in Virginia and North Carolina.
