Tulsa's Edison Eagles and the Memorial Chargers are long-standing rivals. Every year, the principals of the two schools make a bet on who will win their annual football match up.
Obviously, Edison lost. That's why principal Steve Mayfield had to wear a Memorial jersey around the school all day Monday. "You can't even imagine how tough it is, and it wouldn't have been so bad had they not given me one that laid out on Lafortune for a month. This thing is rather ragged and filthy but I'm going to make the best of it."
Mayfield said they usually do a pie in the face, but this year they decided to do things differently.
