The Vision 2025 plan, and those who hope the list that's come out isn't final. The Vision plan is an $877-million plan to attract business and improve the quality of life in Tulsa - and the towns of Tulsa County.

News on 6 reporter Emory Bryan says in any package like this - there will be plenty of people who wish the money would be spent differently. There is a loyal opposition to the current Vision list of downtown projects. It's not that they think downtown Tulsa isn't getting enough money - they believe the money for the downtown arena could be better spent on smaller projects that could transform all of downtown - not just a few blocks of it around the arena.

The current list is subject to change. Tulsa's mayor Bill LaFortune told me Thursday he believes an arena - what they're calling a regional convention and events center - is critical for the package, and a must for a city our size.

The leadership team meets again Monday to talk about the list.
