The new and improved Rudisill Library is celebrating its grand opening. The renovations benefit the entire family.

There's an expanded African-American Resource Center, children's area, and an improved teen corner and study areas. There is also a new 300-seat auditorium, meeting rooms, and computer-training lab.

The $1.1-million project was paid for by a bond voters approved in 1998.
