Thankful for the rainfall

Many people in the Tulsa area are thankful for the rain we got Tuesday. Some parts of our area got between an inch and two inches of rain. <br><br>It may not sound like a lot. But any amount is welcome

Many people in the Tulsa area are thankful for the rain we got Tuesday. Some parts of our area got between an inch and two inches of rain.

It may not sound like a lot. But any amount is welcome since we're nearly 6 inches below normal for the year so far. Don Carmichael is a farmer in Bixby. His farm didn't see a lot of rain, but heâ€™s glad to see any rain. Don Carmichael, farmer "One tenth, two tenths of an inch. But not anything to really get down and really soak the ground. But we're going to need one of those good soaking rains sooner or later."

Area ranchers still need more rain on their pastures, to make sure they have enough grass for their herds this summer.
