A former Tulsa cheerleading coach has been sentenced to eight years in prison for the second-degree rape of a student.
Prosecutors say Andrew Cooperrider had sex with a 14-year-old girl while he worked at the private cheerleading school "Cheers on the Move".
The charge does not say he used force, but by law, the girl was too young to consent.
