Thursday was the National Day of Prayer. For years people across the country have gathered to pray for a number of reasons.
And this year in Tulsa, the day was marked with an hour long Prayer Breakfast at Drillers Stadium. The Mayor, a number of local religious leaders and the community gathered to pray for everything from our country, to our state, continued health and more. Pastor Tim Gray with the Real Life Church, "Each of us as a pastor, a number of pastors have been assigned something to pray for, specifically I'll be praying for families today."
This is the first time the day of prayer was not observed at a downtown event. But organizers say Thursday's activities were a huge success and they're pleased with the turn out.
