(Tulsa-AP) -- Tulsa got a season-high 26 points from Kevin Johnson to beat Boise State 71-to-55 Thursday night.

Johnson was 10-of-14 from the field and made five of his seven 3-point tries.

He came into the game with just six 3-pointers all season.

Jason Parker had 15 points and five assists for the Golden Hurricane.

The victory leaves Tulsa 13-and-8 overall, 6-and-6 in the Western Athletic Conference.

The Hurricane are home again Saturday night to play UTEP.
