STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ Oklahoma State receiver Rashaun Woods ended speculation about his future Wednesday night by announcing that he will return for his senior season.
Woods made the announcement at halftime of the Cowboys' basketball game against Oklahoma, putting a charge into the packed house at Gallagher-Iba Arena.
``This year when we step on the field to play Nebraska, I will be wearing orange,'' Woods said to thunderous applause.
The crowd chanted ``one more year'' before he took the microphone, and ``Heisman'' after he broke the news.
Woods made the All-Big 12 team and was a second-team All-American after catching 107 passes for 1,695 yards and 17 touchdowns. He had nine 100-yard receiving games.
He is the school's career leader with 216 receptions and joined Hart Lee Dykes as the only OSU receivers to reach 3,000 career yards.
Woods caught 12 passes for a school-record 226 yards in a victory over Oklahoma, and followed that with 164 yards on nine catches in the Cowboys' Houston Bowl victory over Southern Mississippi.
Woods said he reached his decision last week.
``I would have got a good deal either way I went, but it was very stressful,'' he said.
