The traditional burning of the greens has proven a success once again in Tulsa.

Hundreds of people braved the cold at Tulsa's Johnson Park Monday night to watch the city torch thousands of Christmas trees.

This is the 62nd year for the ceremony, which many consider the official end to the holiday season.

Proceeds from concessions will benefit the Tulsa Firefighter Clowns Burn Camp.
