Bartlesville hospital opens new surgery center

Bartlesville welcomes a new state of the art surgery center this week. The Jane Phillips Foundation and local medical professionals own and will operate the center that specializes in outpatient surgeries.

Doctors say the center will make it possible for people in Green Country to stay in Oklahoma for treatment that they used to have to go out of state to get. It should also benefit the local economy. Dr Mark Robertson, "We're hoping this will be one way we can attract people from the surrounding communities."

The center has three fully equipped operating rooms and two special procedure rooms.
