(Norman, Oklahoma-AP) -- Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops had to think a while before assessing how his team played in its most recent game.
Stoops says it's hard to remember O-U's 37-to-10 win over North Texas on September Eighth. Third-ranked Oklahoma hasn't played since -- and won't again until September 29th, when they open Big 12 play against Kansas State. O-U is off this week.
They were supposed to play Tulsa on Saturday, but the game was postponed because of the terrorist attacks on the East Coast. That game has been rescheduled for November Third.
Against North Texas, Oklahoma generated more than 500 yards of offense but 13 penalties and several breakdowns put a damper on the evening. Stoops says his teams has worked on correcting those mistakes.
He says his team will do fine, even though they haven't played in a while.
