(Tulsa-AP) -- Tulsa's next challenge is 11th-ranked Fresno State.

And the Golden Hurricane can't wait.

T-U hasn't played a game in two weeks. And head coach Keith Burns says he still doesn't have a good feel for his football team.

Tulsa hosts Fresno State on Saturday. It'll be the Western Athletic Conference opener for both schools.

The Bulldogs are one of the hottest teams in football. Fresno State senior quarterback David Carr is on the cover of this week's Sports Illustrated.

The Bulldogs have had successive victories against Colorado, Orgon State and Wisconsin. Fresno State is also favored to win the WAC title.
