(Sedona, Arizona-AP) -- Former New York Jets defensive lineman Mark Gastineau is in trouble with the law, again.
Gastineau, who played college ball at East Central in Ada, was arrested Tuesday night in Sedona, Arizona, after he was stopped for speeding. A warrant check showed the 44-year-old Gastineau had an outstanding felony warrant for possession of narcotics equipment.
Gastineau was stopped for driving 60 in a 40-mile per hour zone. He was released last month from Rikers Island penitentiary in New York, where he spent 11 months for violating his probation on a 1998 conviction of assaulting his wife.
Gastineau played ten seasons for the Jets before retiring in 1988. He holds the season sacks record of 22.
