If you're looking for a new pet, you can find one on the internet, before you stop by Tulsa's new pet adoption center.
No longer do you need to drive all over town, visiting different organziations.
Now, you can go to one place, the Humane Society's newly opened pet adoption center at 68th and memorial.
The center can hook you up with a number of animal rescue groups.
You can even pick your pet off the website first and learn its history before meeting him or her in person.
Their website lists hundreds of animals from city animal shelters and independent rescue groups.
The center is privately funded and has been two years in the planning.
Gina Gardner, Humane Society President: "We said, this is something that tulsa is lacking, and Tulsa needs. We did it because there are so many homeless animals in our community and this would really make an impact."
Tulsa is a test site for the adoption center, if it works here, the national Humane Society will build other centers across the U.S.
