(Oklahoma City-AP) -- A task force that's working to prevent the closure of Oklahoma's five military bases wrapped up its work Wednesday.

The task force adopted its final report during a meeting at the state Capitol.

Among other things, it recommends better training for civilians who work for the military. It also recommends easier transfer of academic credit and better course compatibility for the children of military families who move to Oklahoma from other states.

The next round of military base closures is more than a year away, but committee chairman, state Representative David Braddock of Altus, says he believes each of the state's bases are at risk.

The economic impact of Oklahoma's military bases is more than $3.9-billion dollars a year.
