(Oklahoma City-AP) -- More than 436,000 Oklahomans have registered for the state's Do Not Call list.
The deadline to register was Sunday. Attorney General Drew Edmondson says 436,065 phone numbers are on the list.
A new law that takes effect January first restricts telemarketers from making unsolicited calls to any consumer more than 30 days after the resident's name and telephone number appear on the registry.
The registry will be updated once every quarter.
Registration for the list began in mid-September.
Edmondson says it isn't too late for Oklahomans to get on the no-call list. The deadline for filing for the next list is March.
