Tulsa Police are out in force this holiday season, keeping an eye out for Christmas-time criminals.
Police say holiday shoppers make tempting targets for potential criminals. But local law enforcement is keeping watch for car burglars, car thieves, purse-snatchers, and shoplifters. This year, they have a bird’s eye view on things. Police have set up on the top floor of an office building near the Promenade Mall to do business. Tulsa Police Cpl Steve Wood, "It gives us a great view of all the parking lots and all the people walking around. So it's just a great vantage point and I can call out stuff to people down on the ground."
Police say the single best way to protect your belongings is still to put them in the trunk. They say criminals are just like everyone else, out of sight, out of mind.
