(Oklahoma City-AP) -- The man who was beaten by Oklahoma City police during an arrest that was caught on videotape pleaded no contest Friday. Donald Pete entered the plea this morning to charges of destruction of evidence, engaging in an act of lewdness and resisting arrest.
Pete won't serve jail time but will pay fines.
Pete was arrested after police found him with a woman believed to be a prostitute. The woman, Leann Clark, pleaded guilty today two counts of prostitution and was sentenced to nine months in the Oklahoma County Jail.
The US Justice Department is reviewing Pete's arrest for possible civil rights violations.
