A Tulsa bank is going high tech. Bank of Oklahoma's newest branch at 96th Street and Delaware Avenue allows customers easy access to safe deposit boxes by cutting-edge palm scanning technology.
Customers enter an access code and scan their palm to gain access to the safe. Bank officials say it's safer, and more convenient for customers. Mike Judd, BOk Sr. Vice President, "If you had to wait on a customer service person who's already with clients, then you're gonna sit and wait for a while. This is designed more the convenience of the customer who can walking, get their business done and walk out." This is the second installation of a palm-scanning machine at the Bank of Oklahoma. The branch in Edmond has one as well. Officials say customers there are very satisfied.
