Oklahoma ranchers are giving the "Gift of Hay" to help wild horses. Oklahoma ranchers have teamed up with some truck drivers to deliver hay to drought-stricken areas in South Dakota.

Several herds of wild horses are in danger of starving without help. Buff Everidge recently donated 97 bales of hay to be taken to the herds. "I think any animal is an important cause, and anybody that doesn't get to eat, and it's a sad situation when one part of the country has an abundance and the other doesn't quite have enough to take care of their own.”

Several truck drivers have also volunteered to deliver the hay, now there's a fund to help pay for gas and expenses.

If you'd like to help, you can donate to "Save the Wild Horses Fund" at the 1st Bank of Owasso.
