(Oklahoma City-AP) -- The Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs is looking for the wackiest laws in the state.
Already in the running is an Ada law that reportedly prohibits wearing clothes in public that bear the name or logo of the New York Jets.
The council also questions an Oklahoma regulation that makes casket makers get a funeral director's license before they can sell their products.
Contest director Chris Pryor says such laws make people lose respect for the ones that DO make sense.
Entry forms are online at the Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs' Web site. Forms can also be requested by calling 8-4-3-9-2-1-2.
The contest deadline is September 15th. Winning entries will be featured at the council's banquet.
