Wednesday was the unofficial kick-off of Broken Arrow's Centennial Celebration.

Workers laid specially purchased memorial bricks in concrete Wednesday morning, forming a pathway in Centennial Park. So far, civic groups and citizens have purchased more than 400 of the special bricks. And there are still bricks available, at $100 each.

The official Centennial Celebration for Broken Arrow is October 19th.
