True freshman Lawrence Pinson may not have to wait long to make a contribution at Oklahoma State.
Reserve roles are wide open at the linebacker position. And Pinson plans on competing for a spot.
Senior Terrence Robinson, a returning starter, was moved to inside linebacker during spring drills. Paul Duren, a redshirt freshman, is the leading candidate to fill Robinson's vacant outside linebacker spot.
Pinson will compete with Justin Deason for the backup role behind Robinson.
Three other true freshmen -- Pagitte McGee, Darnell Smith and Glenn Jackson -- will compete at outside linebacker.
