TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Jake Bollig drove in five runs Friday night, and Josh Merrigan and Shane Hawk combined on a three-hitter as Oklahoma State beat Oklahoma 11-1 Friday night.

The victory by Oklahoma State (36-18, 14-14 Big 12) ended a five-game losting streak to the Sooners dating to the 1999 season. The Cowboys had lost six in a row to Oklahoma in Tulsa.

Bollig, Jimbo McAuliff and Nebasett Brown all had three hits. The Cowboys finished with 15 hits off five pitchers.

Merrigan (7-4) gave up six hits, struck out three and walked three in 6 1/3 innings. Hawk pitched the final 1 2/3 innings, striking out three and walking two.

Oklahoma (23-29-1, 13-14-1) scored its only run in the first inning on one of Greg Dobbs' two hits.

The Cowboys scored twice in the second, added single runs in the third, fourth and six. They broke the game open with five runs in the eighth, three of them scoring on a double by Bollig.

Rocky Cherry (6-4) got the loss, allowing eight hits and four runs in four innings.

The series continues Saturday afternoon in Oklahoma City.
