(Norman-AP) -- Oklahoma junior tailback Jay Hunt took advantage of injuries to Quentin Griffin and Renaldo Works and showed his talents during a short scrimmage yesterday.

Hunt had nine carries for 20 yards and caught two passes for 71 yards, including 60 yard touchdown run after taking a shovel pass from quarterback Jason White.

The Sooners will take the weekend off, then practice again next Monday, Wednesday and Thursday before finishing spring drills with the Red-White Game on April 21st.
