Bixby-AP) -- Authorities are looking for a man who tried to assault a Bixby woman.

Police say the suspect approached the woman from behind near her home. He had a knife and some rope and told the woman he was going to sexually assault her.

Police say the 40-year-old woman was able to fight off the attack and the suspect ran from the house.

The man is described as being Hispanic, in his early 20s, about 5-foot-7 and 150 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to call Bixby authorities. A cash reward is available for information leading to an arrest.
