KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) _ Jaclyn Johnson had 18 points and seven rebounds to lead Kansas over Oklahoma State 66-56 in the first round of the women's Big 12 tournament Tuesday.

Kansas (11-16, 5-11 Big 12) used two 10-0 runs in the second half to earn its fourth straight second-round appearance in the tournament.

Leading 28-26 at halftime, Kansas fell behind brielfly in the second half before using one of those runs to go up by nine with 14:37 left.

Eight-seeded Oklahoma State (14-13, 6-10 Big 12) cut the lead back to four before the Jayhawks answered and stretched the lead to 15.

Jennifer Jackson had 19 points and Brooke Reves scored 12 for Kansas.

Oklahoma State's Kara Faulk had 17 points, Trisha Skibbe had 11 and Shelby Hutchens had 10.

Kansas will play top seed Oklahoma in the second round Wednesday.
