(Texarkana, Arkansas-AP) -- A hat trick by Tom Gomes and two late goals by Jorin Welsh led Tulsa to a wild, come-from-behind shootout win over Border City.
The Oilers rallied from five goals down with just over 15 minutes to play and won by a 7-to-6 score on a Gomes goal in the shootout.
The rally came after three Oilers were ejected during the first two periods and another was given a ten minute misconduct penalty with less than five minutes to play.
The win moves Tulsa into sole possession of fourth place in the Central Hockey League's Western Division, two points ahead of Wichita.
Tulsa and Wichita play tomorrow night at Tulsa.
