(Dallas-AP) -- Oklahoma continues to reap the rewards from their win Saturday over Nebraska.
Sooner quarterback Josh Heupel, who led the Sooners to a 31-14 victory over Nebraska, has been named Big 12 offensive player of the week.
He completed 20 of 34 passes for 300 yards and a touchdown, and ran for 46 yards on eight carries.
Oklahoma senior linebacker Torrance Marshall was named defensive player of the week. He had 12 tackles, including eight unassisted and three for losses. He also had one pass deflection and two sacks.
Texas Tech freshman running back Wes Welker was chosen special teams player of the week. He scored on a 42-yard run and on a 66-yard punt return in Tech's 45-39 victory over Kansas. For the day, he had five receptions for 72 yards, four punt returns for 88 yards and four kickoff returns for 69 yards.
