LONDON (AP) — Paul McCartney will lead fans on a behind-the-scenes cyber tour of his latest art exhibition.

The former Beatle, who took up painting after his 40th birthday in 1982, is showing his paintings at Bristol's Arnolfini Gallery.

The 40-minute cyber tour will be shown Oct. 19 at http://chat.yahoo.com. Following the tour, McCartney will chat live with the Internet audience.

``For many years I painted in private and I didn't really talk about it to anyone outside of my family,'' McCartney said in a statement Thursday. ``Now I'm interested in showing my paintings to anyone who is curious about them, partly to learn what people think.''

Fans can send questions in advance to http://mccartney.yahoo.com or submit queries during the chat.
