(Norman-AP) -- Big 12 Player of the Week honors have been awarded to two Oklahoma players following O-U's convincing win over Texas.

Linebacker Rocky Calmus of Jenks earned the defensive player award.

Calmus had a 41-yards interception return for a touchdown to give the Sooners a 35-to-0 lead in the second quarter of Saturday's Red River Shootout. O-U won 63-to-14.

Calmus was also credited with four solo tackles, two pass deflections, a quarterback sack and two tackles for losses.

It's the second time this year that Calmus has won the Big 12 award.

The Sooners' J-T Thatcher won the Player of the Week award for the third time this year.

The senior defensive back had three punt returns for a total of 65 yards, including a 53-yard runback. Thatcher also intercepted a Texas pass.
