(Tulsa-AP) -- The University of Tulsa volleyball team has signed three transfers from Division One-A schools in the past two years.

The latest to arrive is 6-foot-1 junior Anna Nedderman.

Nedderman was ranked 16th nationally and led the Atlantic Coast Conference in blocks per game at Georgia Tech last year.

Volleyball players don't have to sit out a year after transferring like football and basketball players do. But she is subject to medical approval. She had shoulder surgery ten weeks ago and will rest for at least another two weeks.

The team's season begins with a tournament at Morehead State September First and Second.

Nedderman hopes to be ready to play for the Golden Hurricane Classic, scheduled for September 15th and 16th at the Donald W.
