(Tulsa-AP) -- Two Claremore-area Little League baseball teams are crying foul over the theft of fireworks they were selling as a fund-raiser.

The Claremore Cubs -- a team of 11 year olds -- and the Oklahoma Braves -- a team of 13 and 14 year olds -- were trying to raise money to attend the Little League World Series. But thieves stole about $5,000 worth of fireworks. Police say they will try to find the culprits but doubtany fireworks will be recovered.

The teams have received donations from people who heard about the theft. For example, the Tulsa Drillers donated $100. And the teams will host a small fair Saturday at the Claremore Wal-Mart to try to make up for the stolen goods. They'll have to work fast. The tournaments begin July 16th, with the Braves scheduled in Michigan and the Cubs in Kansas City.
